I graded a late paper this evening. It included this mysterious claim:
"Grief motivate Batman is a different sense."
You really can't make this stuff up, people. Unless you're one of my students, in which case it comes as easy as falling off a log.
In the closing paragraph, I found this nugget:
"I believe movies really are magically."
Watoosa's reply was, "Magically delicious?"
That's why I love her.

I was looking through some old papers from my undergrad days. I came upon my first 5-pager for a Intro to Sociology class, Freshman year. It was atrocious. I was embarrassed that I even turned it in. The punctuation errors alone were grounds for an automatic F (in an English class, likely) but I guess my prof fought through it. I think I got a B on it. I'll try to get some quotes out of it for you.
I think that's what she meant. But there's no telling.

I doubt you remember, but I was in a "one performance only" band that was entitled Magically Delicious. We played the opening fall 1994 semester party at Samford. I remember you being in attendance. I wonder if Watoosa was there as well?
Aren't there some other reasons why you love me? I think you should devote several posts to that. OR a whole separate blog. Cataloging my awesomeness might become too burdensome for you, though. Nevermind.
Greg, if there was a party at Samford, I was there. Unless I was at another party that had costumes. I always opt for costumery.
